New Biodiversity Gain Site Registered in East Suffolk

We are pleased to share that our newest Biodiversity Gain Site (BGS-160125001) has now been officially registered under East Suffolk LPA. This marks a significant step forward as it is the first BNG site registered under this authority.

This site offers high-distinctiveness and very high-distinctiveness habitats, which can help developers meet their BNG planning requirements.

What’s Available?

Traditional Orchards (High Distinctiveness)

Lowland Meadows (Very High Distinctiveness)

Wet Woodland (High Distinctiveness)

Why This Matters for Developers

Biodiversity units from this site are now immediately available for sale and allocation. These units can help developers meet BNG compliance requirements, including trading rules where lower-distinctiveness habitats are not available elsewhere.

Opportunities for Landowners

This site highlights the growing demand for biodiversity gain sites across the UK. If you’re a landowner interested in creating a registered biodiversity gain site, we can guide you through the process to unlock long-term income opportunities.
